This started out as a test blog, so that I could learn how WordPress works and to give me a purpose for some of my interest in figuring out how to setup and administer a linux server.
I began the blog for my own amazement, but as time has passed the blog has taken on a bit of a life of its own serving as a bit of a journal of life as it hurries by, a means of keeping in touch with friends and relatives and even a replacement for the annual Christmas letter.
