Mynarski Lancaster
The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum‘s airworthy Lancaster WWII bomber is on a cross country tour. Today it arrived in Calgary.
As part of Brenda’s work for the Aerospace Museum of Calgary, who are co-sponsoring the tour stop in Calgary, she was working at a VIP cocktail reception at the hangar where the Lanc is staying for the week. I joined Brenda at the reception and we had a nice evening chatting to some of the crew and staff from the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. We were even able to have not one, but two, leisurely tours through the aircraft.
A follow up post will have a few more details and pictures.
